Thirty seconds a shift. A full record by April.

  1. Quick entry

Log the shift before you clock out.

Punch in cash tips, card tips and hours when you clock out. Server44 stores it on your phone and works out your hourly rate on the spot.

Server44 edit sheet for entering card tips on a shift, with the week and net income summary behind it
  2. Two jobs

    Keep each job separate.

Bartending Friday, delivery Saturday, banquets Sunday? Each job gets its own profile, its own rate and its own totals.

Server44 calendar with two job tabs, Steakhouse and Wine Bar, and an estimated net income card
  3. Best nights

    Money nights, found.

Pull up daily, weekly and monthly breakdowns. Find the shifts worth picking up, and export everything as CSV when April rolls around.

Tax records

The IRS counts cash tips too.

The IRS expects every dollar of tip income on your return — cash included. Earn more than $20 in tips in a calendar month and you're required to report them to your employer. Skip it and you're looking at penalties, back taxes, and interest. Daily tracking isn't a nice-to-have; it's how you stay out of trouble.

Card tips usually show up on your pay stub through the POS. Cash tips don't. That's where most servers lose the trail — and it's the exact gap auditors look for. Log every shift the moment it ends (date, hours, cash vs. card) and you've got a record that holds up at tax time and shows you which nights are actually worth showing up for.

Server44 keeps that record for you. It is free on iOS and Android.

All tips

Built for the way tipped work actually happens.

Cash, card, more than one job, tip-out, tax season. Server44 handles the whole mess so you can see what you are really making.

  • Cash and card, side by side

Cash and card tips stay separate, so you can see what reached your pocket and what shows up on the paycheck.

  • A calendar of earnings

A full month at a glance. Spot the best nights, the slow weeks, and the shifts you should be picking up.

  • Averages that mean something

Totals, averages and best days for the last 7, 30, 90 or 365 days. See a trend before it costs you a paycheck.

  • Built for more than one job

Different venues, different rates, different tip rules. Each job keeps its own numbers, so the math stays honest.

  • Tip-out, tracked

Log what you pay bussers, barbacks and food runners. Know your real take-home, not just what hit the table.

  • Export for tax season

CSV, PDF or plain text. Hand it to your accountant, drop it into TurboTax, or keep it for your own records.

What servers and bartenders say about it, in their own words.

Our bar/restaurant just moved to tips on checks. Even with the “no tax on tips” I could not figure out the math and percentages of tip outs and how much I made or should be receiving on my paycheck. This app has my paycheck down to the cents every time!

I’ve been a server for five years and this is the most convinent and resonating app I’ve used thus far.

Has a calendar that you can see how much you made on a given day. Very useful for tracking tips. No ads as well is amazing.

Common questions

Is Server44 really free?

Yes — the core app is free forever. Log tips, track multiple jobs, view insights, export your data. There's an optional PRO upgrade for power users who want unlimited jobs and extras, but most servers never need it.

Where does my data live?

On your device. Nowhere else. We don't collect it, store it, or sell it. Your earnings are your business — and they stay that way.

Can I track more than one job?

Yes. Create a profile for each job with its own hourly rate and tip rules. Server44 keeps the numbers separate so you can see which gig actually pays better.

How do I export for taxes?

Open Insights, tap export, pick CSV (for spreadsheets), PDF (for records), or plain text. Choose your date range and hand it to your accountant or drop it straight into TurboTax.

What's in the insights?

Totals and averages for the last 7, 30, 90, and 365 days. Best earning days. Cash vs. card breakdown. Effective hourly rate. Tip-out totals. The numbers you need to actually decide which shifts to pick up.

Does it handle the new No Tax on Tips deduction?

Yes. Our free No Tax on Tips Calculator estimates your federal income-tax savings under the 2025+ tip deduction. Pair it with your Server44 log to see what you really take home each pay period.
